Welcome to Gesturing
Point, tap, scroll and go back without touching the glass. Your camera watches your hand, on your own device, and turns it into a cursor.
Uses your camera right here in the browser. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
A very short history of pointing
Some of the oldest marks people ever made are outlines of their own hands.
Douglas Engelbart shows a pointer on a screen, moved by a little box on the desk.
The finger itself becomes the pointer, as long as it touches the glass.
A camera reads your hand in the air. The phone can sit on a stand while you cook, read or relax.
How it sees you
The camera finds your wrist, knuckles and fingertips many times a second. Gesturing reads the shape they make: a pointing finger, a pinch, a fist, two fingers up.
The five moves
A fist between moves tells Gesturing you are ready for the next one. Swipe an open hand left or right to go back or forward.
Playground
Point at a bubble and tap. The pointer fills in when it is over something you can tap.

Every app here is made by one developer. Come and say hello.
Get to know the developerYour camera is processed on your device. Video never leaves it.
Fist to get ready, two fingers to scroll down, one finger to scroll up, thumb to middle finger to tap. A little coach walks you through it.
The camera stays on your device and nothing is recorded. It turns off by itself when you stop.
